The International Relations Career Challenge 2017 KCL took place at the King’s College London, United Kingdom on 20 – 24 February, 2017.


Participants from different countries and with diverse backgrounds actively participated in the program. It was attended by young professionals of 18 different nationalities, including Australia, Canada, China, the Dominican Republic, Ecuador, France, Germany, India, Iran, Italy, Japan, Turkey, Netherlands, Pakistan, Romania, Singapore, the United Kingdom and the United States. Professional backgrounds of the attendees included international relations, politics, conflict resolution, law, economics, finance, data science, information systems, philosophy and nutrition.

Winning Team

Congratulations to the team winning the IRCC 2017 KCL! The team consisted of five bright young professionals, including Andreea Badiu-Slabu (King’s College London), Yuki Fujita (University of Amsterdam), Alexandra Georges-Picot (University of St. Andrews), Emma Howe (Boston College), Kristina Brown (George Washington University).


The IRCC 2017 KCL  program was attended by a number of experienced professionals with substantive experience in various international development organisations worldwide. The speakers were advising students on the career start in the competitive field of international relations, outlining development opportunities and educating students on how to practically apply knowledge gained in universities to real assignments in international organisations.
