What is the International Relations Career Challenge?

The International Relations Career Challenge (IRCC) is a unique short-term extracurricular course for young professionals willing to work in the international relations area. You will receive guidance and individual coaching in regards to your career development, including professional role selection, job search strategy, application filling, profile presentation, interview performance and networking.

When will the International Relations Career Challenge take place?

The IRCC will take place at King’s College London, United Kingdom on February 19-23, 2018.

What will I learn?

During the 5-day intense program you will apply your theoretical knowledge gained during your academic studies, in individual and group exercises that aim to simulate every-day activities in international organisations. You will also gain genuine hands-on experience of different professional roles and get a chance to determine your own career strategy to enter the international relations area.

In addition, the course will help you to develop substantive knowledge of the United Nations system and major global trends on the international relations agenda. It will also teach you vital negotiation, public speaking, problem solving, conflict resolution, research and communication skills.
